
After years of poverty, wine lover Emile unexpectedly inherits a vineyard in a sleepy French village. Against all odds, he proves to have a remarkable flair for creative entrepreneurship. Emile becomes mayor of the village and, thanks to the discovery of a dormant volcano, transforms it into a major tourist attraction. As a result, he is increasingly forced to weigh up his love of tradition against hard cash.
